Being an ambassador of Odesa means representing the city on the international stage and supporting the motherland. In the autumn of 2024, Konstantyn Sobol, founder of MB NAVIGATION SA and Ambassador of Odesa in Greece, made a gift to the Odesa National Maritime University, where he studied from 1996 to 2001.
He purchased and paid for the installation and connection of a diesel generator. This modern three-phase (400V) generator, housed in a soundproof enclosure, has a capacity of 110 kVA (88 kW)
and ensures the stable operation of the university during periods of insufficient power supply caused by constant enemy shelling.
“Despite the challenges of war, it is necessary to create conditions for the education and training of new professionals. That's why I've provided my alma mater with equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation, even during power cuts. I am glad to be able to help and I am grateful to the university staff for their dedication”.
