As part of Greek Culture Week at the World Club of Odesans, an evening was held to celebrate the centuries-old cultural and historical bonds between Odesa and Greece. The highlight of the event was the screening of a film by director Serhiy Korinievskyi, titled "The Role of Odesa in the Greek Revolution," created to mark the 204th anniversary of Greece’s independence.
The evening’s atmosphere was enriched by traditional Greek treats and wines, sent from Greece by the event’s special guest, Mr. Kostyantyn Sobol, who joined online. A member of the World Club of Odesans and Odesa’s Ambassador to Piraeus, his contribution added a special touch to the occasion.
The historical ties between Odesa and Greece continue to thrive and grow, forming an unshakable foundation for friendship and mutual dialogue.
